Page of Wands — The Spark Returns (Even If Your Energy’s Still Catching Up)

This card showed up for me this morning and I actually laughed a little—because of course it did.

The Page of Wands doesn’t arrive when everything is tidy and perfect and I’m fully rested and thriving.

It arrives when I’m recovering… but the spark is still there.

And today, with new Substack journeys stirring for both Morigan and Sadie, this Page feels like a tiny torch being held up in the dark like:

“Hey. You’re not done. Not even close.”

🪶 Part 1: For the Writers

The Page of Wands is the beginning of creative fire.

Not the “I have it all figured out” fire.
The “I’m curious again” fire.
The “what if I tried this?” fire.

It shows up when:

  • You’re starting something new and it feels exciting and scary

  • You have an idea that won’t leave you alone

  • You’re rebuilding your voice after burnout

  • You’re tempted to wait until you feel “ready”… but the story is already tapping on the window

  • Your body is tired, but your spirit is lifting its head like: still here.

This is the card of fresh momentum without perfectionism.

It’s not asking for a masterpiece.
It’s asking for a first step.

🔥 And here’s the important nervous-system truth:
The Page doesn’t demand full output.
The Page rewards tiny consistency.

Today’s Practical Magick

The Spark Container Spell (10 minutes):

  1. Set a timer for 10 minutes

  2. Open your draft (or Substack draft)

  3. Write anything—a paragraph, a scene, a line of dialogue, a wild idea

  4. Stop when the timer ends (this matters)

You’re teaching your body:

“Creative work is safe. It has edges. It won’t consume me.”

🕯️ Optional: Light a candle while you write and whisper:
“I follow the spark, not the pressure.”
