The Seven of Wands rose up for me this morning, and it couldnât have been more fitting.
Itâs the card of defense, resilience, and standing your groundâthe reminder that even when the world (or your inbox) seems to be piling on, youâve got the strength and perspective to hold your line.
And it made me laugh, because right before I pulled it, I was thinking about an overdue payment I need to nudge a customer about. Classic Seven energy: youâve done the work, youâve delivered, and now itâs time to stand tall and advocate for whatâs owed.
But the card didnât stop thereâit showed up right after one of those eerie, not-quite-right moments in the middle of the night⊠đđ”âđ«đ€Ł
Whatever it was, the Seven of Wands reminded me: you donât always win by charging down the hill. Sometimes you win by staying alert, holding your position, and not letting outside forces drag you into their chaos.
đȘ¶ Part 1: For the Writers
The Seven of Wands is for every writer who feels like the odds are stacked against them:
That review that cuts deeper than it should.
That day job that keeps pulling time and energy away from the page.
That inner voice that whispers, âMaybe you donât have what it takes.â
This card is your reminder: you do.
The Seven doesnât ask for perfectionâit asks for persistence. To defend your creative ground. To say: This is my voice. This is my story. And Iâm not backing down.
