The Chariot – Reins, Resistance, and Realignment
The Chariot rolled in for me this morning — and wow, did it have something to say.
It’s been ages since I’ve seen this card, but its return feels like a drumbeat I can’t ignore. The message is clear: when resistance pulls you sideways, your willpower and clarity are the reins that bring everything back into alignment.
And I want to share it in two parts — one for the writer’s soul, and one from my own morning (and even my dream) that carried this same Chariot truth.

The Chariot shows up when your creative life feels pulled in a dozen directions at once.
It’s the card of:
Competing deadlines, marketing tasks, half-finished manuscripts.
The constant tug-of-war between writing and “everything else.”
The nagging backlog that feels like it’s driving you instead of the other way around.
The Chariot reminds us:
Momentum matters more than perfection.
You steer the horses — they don’t steer you.
A little structure can carry a lot of chaos.
When this card arrives, it’s an invitation to:

✨ Release the guilt of the things you can’t touch right now.
✨ Anchor your body and breath so your mind doesn’t spin off-course.
Because writers don’t need to do all the things at once — we just need to keep the wheels rolling forward.
