This card showed up for me this morning, and oh⌠she didnât pull any punches.
She pierced straight through the fluff and said,
âLetâs talk about the hurt youâre hiding from. Letâs name the ache.â
And so we shall. Because this pain? It deserves to be seenânot just shoved into the back corner of your spirit.
𪜠Part 1: For the Writers
The Three of Swords is heartbreak. Itâs loss. Itâs the cruel clarity that follows a broken promise or a dashed hope.
It shows up when:
Youâve just been ghosted by a job or client you really needed.
Youâre staring at your bank account wondering how the hell youâll make it through another month.
Youâre trying to sell your soulâs work⌠and no oneâs buying.
Youâre pushing through, every day, with the boot of capitalism on your chest, wondering if youâll ever breathe freely again.
This is the writerâs wound, raw and real.
But the Three doesnât just sliceâshe illuminates.
She whispers:
âYouâre not broken. Youâre becoming honest.â
Because the ache? Itâs telling you whatâs not working.
Itâs asking you to stop begging for breadcrumbs from people who were never going to feed you.
Itâs daring you to tell the damn truth in your work, your life, your business.
Hereâs what to do with it:
Write it outâugly, messy, and unfiltered.
Speak your boundaries out loud, even if your voice shakes.
Let this pain clear the decks. Stop marketing to ghosts. Stop clinging to expired chapters.
Youâre not behind. Youâre grieving.
And grieving is holy.
