This morning, I pulled the Two of Swords—and the air around me practically hummed with it.

You know those mornings when the world feels just a bit… sideways?
The light looks wrong. The cats are unsettled. The air carries a static whisper of something forgotten.

That was today.

And the Two of Swords? She came in gently, but firm—inviting me to sit with that not-knowing.

  • To not force clarity.

  • To not fix the unease.

  • To let the mystery be mystery.

🪶 Part 1: For the Writers

The Two of Swords isn’t indecision—it’s protection.
It’s what happens when our creative heart says:

“I need a moment.”
“I’m not ready to choose.”
“I’m holding two truths and don’t want to betray either.”

And in the author life? That moment is sacred.

Because we get so used to pushing, planning, publishing…
that we forget the magic lives in the pause.

This card reminds us:

  • You don’t need to pick your next project today.

  • You don’t have to “feel clear” to be in alignment.

  • Sometimes, the fog is fertile. It’s where new work begins.

If your brain feels noisy but your body feels “not ready,” trust the body.
Let today be a creative exhale.
Journal instead of plan. Dream instead of decide.

🕊️ Not every day is for forging forward. Some days are for floating—and listening for the next true yes.
