The Ace of Wands showed up for me this morning — and oh, does it carry a message.
Not the kind of “bursting with energy” message my aching hips and shoulders wanted to hear at 6:15 AM. But a deeper one. A reminder that a spark doesn’t have to be a wildfire — it just has to catch.

The Ace of Wands is the matchstick of the tarot — the moment of ignition.
It’s the card that shows up when:
You’ve been buried under backlog tasks, waiting for your own creative projects to finally get their turn.
You feel that restless tug of frustration because you haven’t started yet, but your soul keeps pawing at the door.
You need permission to believe that a tiny spark is enough.
This card doesn’t demand an all-nighter or 10k words today. It whispers:
One sentence. One spark. One moment of flame is enough to prove you’re still a writer.

Light a candle and whisper: “My fire returns.”
Or stir your coffee clockwise three times, naming each stir: “Spark, Flame, Fire.”
