This card showed up for me this morning, and I want to tell you something:
He didn’t arrive gently.
He arrived after a night of hard dreams, a tension headache, and a cold sweat at 3am.
Which is, honestly, exactly when the King of Swords should arrive.
Because he’s not the card of easy mornings. He’s the card of — okay, that was hard, and now we decide.
And I want to share this in two parts — because the King of Swords doesn’t just speak to me as a healing human.
He speaks directly to every writer who has ever had to choose their craft over their chaos.

The King of Swords is the master of the sovereign mind.
He is clear. He is decisive. He does not perform his authority — he simply holds it. Sword upright. Eyes forward. Unbothered by the emotional weather around him.

And writers? We need this energy desperately. Because we are, by nature, feeling creatures. We live inside our own heads. We carry our characters, our worlds, our half-finished chapters like invisible weight across our shoulders every single day.
