đ´ Bear Bones Tarot: August 13, 2025
Four of Swords â Rest is a Rebellion. Stillness is a Spell.
This card greeted me this morning like a deep breath with a warm blanket over my shoulders.
And Iâm sharing it in two partsâbecause the Four of Swords isnât just rest... itâs sacred rest.
Itâs the breath you forgot you were holding.
𪜠Part 1: For the Writers
The Four of Swords shows up when youâre mentally frayed.
Not broken. Not lazy. Not falling behind.
Just⌠frayed. Like your mind is a drawer that wonât close because too many thoughts are shoved inside.
Itâs the writerâs version of:
I have 37 tabs open in my brain and none of them are helpful
I should be doing more
I canât even pick which task to start because they all feel loud and urgent
This card doesnât shame you for that.
It doesnât ask you to do more to get clarity.
It asks you to stop.
Breathe.
Sleep.
Sit with the discomfort and not solve it yet.
Because sometimes, the most courageous creative act is to pause before pushing.
To let your brain reboot.
To let your nervous system remember that not every task is a crisis.
đĄ Four of Swords wisdom for creatives:
Schedule NOTHING for 1 hour today. Let your muse find you in the space between plans.
Take one small physical action to clear internal clutter (trash bag out = old guilt out).
Let today be a âsoft focusâ day. No pushing. Just gentle realignment.
Your brilliance isnât in how fast you move.
Itâs in how wholly you return.
đŻď¸ Todayâs Practical Magick
Banish Clutter Spell:
As you take out a trash bag today, whisper:
âI release what no longer serves. My space reflects my peace.â
Butterfly Taps for Mental Clarity:
Cross arms, tap shoulders gently.
Say:
âI am safe even without a plan.â
âI do not have to earn rest.â
